01 Overview

The Sked Basic Rescue System SK-200-OR or its alternative name the Sked Stretcher, can be lifted vertically or horizontally by winch, whether on a tripod, crane or helicopter. It has become the confined space rescue of choice and has been used on major infrastructure projects including Crossrail and the new Forth Road Bridge.

Able to be carried or dragged the Sked basic Rescue System is probably the most versatile stretcher available.

The Sked Basic Rescue System is used by virtually every rescue team in any rescue scenario including the military, emergency rescue services and industry. Whether oil and gas, mining, construction or wind farms, anywhere there may be a need to have a solution to a real or potential danger or hazard the Sked is well suited.

The Sked Basic Rescue System comes rolled in its own cordura backpack making it easy to transport or store. The backpack measures 95 cm high and 20cm diameter, compact enough for any rescue situation.

Cobra Buckles are also available as well as standard buckles.

For military needs the Sked is available in camouflage Green.

All parts belonging to the Sked Basic Rescue System are available separately. In addition water rescue systems can be purchased to use in conjunction with the Sked Basic Rescue System either at time of purchase or later. These just attach simply and easily to keep the patient in a near vertical position in the water.
